Six Questions To Ask Your Atlanta Boudoir Photographer
1. Who Will Be My Photographer?
Always ask who your photographer will be! Some boudoir companies claim to be “local” but are really just hiring random photographers in the area! The quality of your photos, your comfort, and professionalism isn’t guaranteed if the photographer isn’t consistent with the photos in the portfolio. You should be able to talk to your photographer before your session to make sure your personalities and styles work well together!
2. What Do I Wear For My Boudoir Session?
A seasoned photographer will have a wardrobe guide for you to follow. Choosing your outfits for your boudoir session really sets the tone for the photo shoot, and having a preparation guide is an important tool to get your session started right.
3. Will You Help Me With Poses?
Good photographers always have poses in mind for boudoir clients! They should also be willing to hear and try your ideas, and adjust for your comfort, mobility, set, and wardrobe.
4. Who Will Be Present At My Photo Session?
Always ask this question so you know exactly who will be around during your photo shoot, and there are no surprises! It can be upsetting to find there are extra people on your set during an intimate boudoir photo session.
5. What Should I Do To Get Ready For My Session?
Again, your boudoir photographer should have a preparation guide available for you. Some people choose to get extra services (such as hair removal, manicures, pedicures, facials, etc) done prior to their photo shoot.
6. Do You Photograph Couples or Individuals?
If you are considering having a boudoir couples session, it’s important to ask your photographer if they offer that service AND if they have experience photographing couples. Many boudoir photographers only offer individual sessions, or they do not have experience posing couples. Always ask to see a portfolio of work.
