The Boudoir Session Process
Before The Session
Before your session, I love to connect and get to know about you. Your personal style and taste inform the entire session, so it’s important for me to learn what you like! During your free consultation, you will have the opportunity to ask me questions about the session process and tell me what your goals and inspiration are. If you aren’t sure yet what you want, I can help you to come up with a plan to achieve your goals for the session.
During The Session
Your session starts at a location chosen on both the vibe of your shoot, and the proximity to you! I closed my home studio a few years ago and now rent locations based on the specific needs for your photo session.
Whether it’s vampy, industrial, classic, light and airy, or even outdoors, I have it covered with an amazing variety of spaces where we can make your dream shoot happen.
While you get pampered with your hair styling and makeup application, I get set up and ready for the session. We go through all of your outfits together and I plan poses and sets for each one.
Once the actual photo shoot starts, I will coach you into flattering poses and expressions. I show you the back of my camera while we work so you can see the results in real-time and ask for any changes in posing, lighting, or outfits.
After The Session
Once your session is over, we will look over all of the images and do your image selection. Image reveals can be done the same day, or on a different day of your choosing. Image selection typically takes 1-1.5 hours. There is no sales pitch or pressure. We want you to only walk away with photos that you love!
